Reminder: Turn off outside water spigots

Last year, we had both of our outside water spigots freeze over the winter, requiring a visit from the plumber.

In our previous home, we had outside water spigots, but never had to turn them off (nor was there a turnoff). So, we had a surprise last spring when both spigots froze. I made a mental note to turn them off this fall and to remind my neighbors – !

In your cellar, there is a water shutoff where you have your outside spigot. Now is the time to turn them off!
