ParticipantThis is an important survey! I completed it and although I don’t need the medical transport or other services, I certainly use the airport shuttle. Be sure to do this survey and show usage. The online form is easy: http://tiny.cc/seniortransit

ParticipantWe had a very good experience with Acme Pressure Washing LLC last fall (October 9). Brad evaluated a number of companies and got estimates before he chose this company. They did three other homes on Tavern Hill as well.
Their service for us:
“Chemical pretreatment followed by pressure cleaning of vinyl siding with foundation and front steps. Chemical pretreatment followed by medium pressure cleaning of decking.”The charge was $295

ParticipantThere is an article here on our HW website that Brad and I wrote on radon – based on our experiences: https://hwcommunity.info/2016/02/08/radon-and-hickory-woods/
Good luck!

ParticipantGood News! We called Key Stone Carvings in Hudson http://www.keystonecarvings.net/index.html and they were able to fix the issue. It seems that the original seam “glue” was not properly mixed so it became brittle. I highly recommend this company! They not only replaced the glue, but they also made the seam better by grinding in slots to hold the glue.

ParticipantRick – you might want to check out the article that Brad and I posted under “Homeowner Advisories” in February. Many neighbors has installed radon mitigation systems and may be able to help you with your specific situation. Good luck!

ParticipantBob and all neighbors – I think that what you are suggesting is exactly what’s being proposed. The stumbling block causing the confusion is the word “limits.” The question is about establishing TERMS for the BOD with regular elections. As it is now, there is NO end to the term of a board member. The additional question is if the election of board members should be staggered.
Everyone – please complete the survey on BOD term duration: bit.ly/HWtermlimits
The second survey is about the HOA funds: bit.ly/HWreservefunds
