My garage door box indicates that I need a battery change. The know about the outside aaa batteries but is there a battery for the main unit. We just recently found out the a refrigerator plugged into outlet in the garage blue the breaker. No with the refrigerator unplugged the garage door works but is asking for batteries

The control unit on the wall should have 2 AA batteries in it. The bottom of the panel should pull down (press & pull) to reveal batteries.

There is also a Back-up battery in the overhead unit.
It is rechargeable, but make sure the circuit breaker for the garage outlets is set.
If the issue is the overhead battery, the door will open / close slowly and may be beeping.

Thank you after I replace the outdoor batteries I will check on the breaker. I was told it wasn’t working
