Fall Golf Scramble

The Fall golf scramble was just as everyone had hoped for–good weather, good spirits, good community camaraderie, and good golf. The 24 golfers endured an early chill in the weather but warmed up with shot after shot down the fairway. The 8 women and 16 men golfers all used their skills to seek bragging rights around the community. Well, at the end of 18 holes the winning team was Emma Greenhalgh, Carol Moynihan, Gary Mosher and Len Pellerin. No matter the team scores each player enjoyed themselves with memories of that missed putt.
Following the golf match, many players and spouses enjoyed an early dinner of hot dogs, chips and desserts at the Clubhouse. Stories of the day and other tales were exchanged. Thanks to Marty Piekos for being the “griller”.; Judy Noonan and Vern Loschi for helping with set up and especially Dick Loschi for coordinating the entire effort.

Hopefully, all the golfers who participated and others will join us again next year at the Spring scramble, or the Mesiti Cup challenge, or the Fall scramble.
