I’ll provide more detail soon… In case others have a similar situation, I just want to mention the problem we had with an exterior utility box.
Service conduits on the exterior of structures often have an EXPANSION JOINT to accommodate changes as the soil around the structure settles. One of our service conduits–the conduit for the Lawn light Post–had no expansion joint. As the soil settled, the box was ripped off of the side of the house.
