      Good Morning All,

      Just to make everyone aware.

It appears we had a visitor last night who took down our bird feeder. We are assuming it was a bear or a very strong, angry Hickory Woods resident. We opt for the first choice since the pole it was on is bent completely in half.

Bears also like the smell of food cooking so cover your grills at night and hopefully we won’t have any future problems.

      Hi Margaret and Phil,

We also had our bird feeder taken down two nights ago and again last night. Part of the steel post was actually gone, along with one of the feeders. When we looked out this morning, the new feeder that Wally just purchased and replaced was down on the patio. Our cookout, which is covered, was also moved in a different place on the patio (and we didn’t move it)!!

WOW! I think that the new development, Cross Farm, disturbed a lot of animals and maybe they are moving into Hickory Woods whether we want them or not!

Wally has decided to take in his bird feeders at night and put them back out in the morning.

I wish I had a camera to catch the little (or big) rascal! I love all animals but BEARS are a bit much!!
