October 2024: Photo Tour of our Community Library. My, how we’ve grown!

The HW Library has a wonderful collection of books (fiction and nonfiction) as well as an amazing array of puzzles. We accept donations – thank you! We focus on “good reads” and have no room for coffee table books, craft books – these will be donated to the Friends of the Leach Library ongoing book sale.

11/13/2021 UPDATE on our PUZZLE LIBRARY 

Thanks to the amazing donations, our Puzzle Library has grown tremendously.

Because of the dramatic expansion, the shelves for puzzles has been relocated to the “meeting room” next to the HW Library.

These puzzles vary in size from 100 pieces to 2000 pieces.

DONATIONS are welcome.

They are ready for you to take home – ENJOY!

7/28/2020 Calling all Puzzle Enthusiasts

The BOD has given the OK to adding puzzles to our library. Great news!

DONATIONS NEEDED! If you would like to donate adult (not children’s) jigsaw puzzles in gently-used condition, please bring them to the HW Library and place them in the corner / book return bin

The basic “ground rules” will be the same as the rest of our library:

• Puzzles donated will be
  • Evaluated for appropriateness and condition of the box and completeness of the puzzle pieces
  • Marked with stickers, “Hickory Woods Puzzle Library”
• HW Residents may borrow puzzles
  • There is no checkout procedure – just take it home and enjoy
  • There is no “due date”
  • Return puzzles to the puzzle rack
