I suggest using the expanding foam spray on all the contact areas. i don’t have that problem but that’s what I’d try as a fix.

We had that problem when we first moved in. We did two things – increased the weather stripping. bob Bouchard’s suggestion of the expanding foam is a good one to seal all the cracks. But we also had gutters installed over that area to keep the rain/moisture away from that area. We have a Spruce Two model and our bulkhead is behind the house and water use to come right down and right in. We haven’t had a problem since.
