I would like to offer a perspective on the upcoming survey about the use of the HOA Fees collected at passing.
This $450.00 belongs to each owner in Hickory Woods. It was taken at closing to insure sufficient reserves would be accumulated for the ongoing use of the association.
If this money is no longer need for Reserves, then I suggest it be returned to each owner as an HOA Fee credit and not be made available to be spent for whatever we vote on.
Before spending this money we should let ourselves mature as an association since many needs could arise that are not currently known.
$450 times 100 homes is a significant sum and should not be voted away by a what would we like vote.
Your consideration to this perspective would be appreciated.
Regards,
Carl & Marion Hohenstein
