The Post Office has not picked up our mail the last 2 days. Judy has outgoing Xmas cards. I called and spoke to Casey(ph) the female supervisor. She told me directly that due to staffing issues they have not been able to send anyone out to HW for the last 2 days but they will today.

I asked if this would be a continuing problem and she said yes. She politely and with concern asked if I knew anyone looking for a job to have them contact her. I should have asked how they determine which routes get service and which don’t but I was so thrown off guard by her blunt sad response that I didn’t.

This is so sad. I am not liking this current state of affairs. The Post Office has been so stable and reliable most of my life.
