2/11/2023 – From John Goglia: The Superbowl Pool is complete. Check out your numbers posted on the wall at the Tavern.
Bob Medeiros & John Goglia will be doing the same 100 square grid pool as usual for this year’s Superbowl (2/12/2023) even though our Patriots will be sitting this one out.
- It will cost $2 to put your name in a square.
- After the grid is filled we will have a session to randomly put the KC Chiefs and Philly Eagles names on top and side of the grid. We will also randomly put numbers 0-9 on top then bottom.
- Winners of each of the first 3 quarters and final score get $50 each. Winning scores are determined by the last digit of each team’s score at the end of each of the first 3 quarters and then the final score. (Example: Eagles 10, Chiefs 3 at end of first quarter whoever has the square intersecting at Eagles 0, Chiefs 3 wins that quarter.)
- This is all random and luck. You do not get to pick your scores. We will let as many as possible know when we will randomly complete the grid so you can participate if you like.
- Grid will be at the clubhouse 7-9 Monday through Thursday this week. We will also have the grid available at other events at the clubhouse throughout the week where possible.
- If we cannot completely fill the grid all monies will be returned.
- Let Bob M. or John G. know if you would like to participate but cannot get to the clubhouse.
- Once the grid is completed it will be at The Tavern in the clubhouse until after the game for everyone to take a picture and have their numbers for the game.
