Our Community Library is OPEN during this Pandemic. Treat yourself to a great read.
- Kindly wash / disinfect your hands before and after you visit
- Return your borrowed books (or donated books) to the Return Bin. They will be wiped down and disinfected before shelving by the Library Gnomes.
- Check out this “special collection” of books (below). Someone definitely had too much time on their hands! (Hint…check out the titles….)
January 2020 – Update
We have grown again…another 6 shelf bookcase and a 3 shelf bookcase. THANK YOU to the Board of Directors for approving the purchase and to Bob McGrath and Rick Jenkins for installing (securing) them.
The Nonfiction books are in the 3 shelf unit. There is a “Biography” section within this nonfiction section.
This Community Library is a celebration of READING and SHARING. It is a collection of good reading books that have been donated so that we can all enjoy them.

How do I borrow a book?
- Browse to find one that interests you
- Take it home – NO checkout
- NO due dates!
- Return it when you are finished
- Place it in the “Return” Bin in the corner
- REPEAT
Are donations still needed?
- Absolutely!
- Any books that cannot be added will be donated to the public library book sale.
- Place donations in the “Return” bin
11/15/2018 Update – we have 2 new bookcases
Our Community Library is almost a year old and has been quite popular. We have had a steady flow of books borrowed. Thanks to the many terrific donations; HW residents have great taste in books!
FYI – we have about 500 books in our collection.
We have expanded to two additional 6-shelf bookcase to accommodate all the books. Thanks to Ron Daigle and Doug Perrigo for installing the new cases.

How Do I Borrow a Book? Easy…just grab and go.
How Do I Return a Book? Easy….just drop it in the plastic tub to the left of the shelves.
HOW TO DONATE:
- Place books in the donation box in the Library.
- Books that cannot be used will be donated to the Londonderry Friends of Library or recycled.
